Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hazardous area schedules in line with relevant industry standards
- Prepare Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) drawings, including plans and side views
- Interpret and work from P&IDs and H&M balances
- Prepare firefighting and safety equipment layouts for offshore facilities
- Develop escape and evacuation layouts and safety signage layouts
- Communicate requirements clearly to drafting teams for layout preparation
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and in line with agreed schedules
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering
- 10-18 years of experience in technical safety
- Strong experience in hazardous area classification and related engineering standards
- Ability to understand and apply information from Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Familiarity with industry standards for hazardous area classification
- Experience with offshore safety and layout design
- Good communication and reporting skills with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively with draftsmen and other stakeholders
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility for meeting deadlines
