Qualification
- Bachelor's degree: Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Professional status: Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
Experience
- 10 years relevant post-graduate experience, including 6 years related to the Oil & Gas industry
- Ability to identify and use relevant engineering standards and codes related to Materials & Corrosion Engineering
- Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality in engineering projects within a multiple-project environment
- Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical design and engineering services in Materials & Corrosion Engineering for assigned projects, meeting technical quality requirements while considering schedule, cost, and HSE
- Conduct Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities and in-house site surveys from concept definition through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning
- Ensure technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed; review technical deviations/variations
- Support review, update, and application of internal engineering standards and amendments to external standards
- Plan and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams for timely delivery of technical services
- Coordinate engineering designs and develop/review multidisciplinary work scopes, ensuring completeness and clarity
- Review and approve contractor method statements for scope compliance and resolve technical issues
- Develop, update, and monitor in-house engineering schedules and contribute to FEED/EPIC scheduling and effective delivery
- Evaluate technical bid packages for scope compliance
- Review and evaluate contract changes/variations to approved guidelines and practices
- Support development of personal and coworker technical competency and participate in structured training for Associate Engineers
