Job Purpose
Provide senior-level Process Engineering and Flow Assurance expertise throughout the EPC and start-up phases of major oil & gas projects through to handover to the permanent operating asset. Ensure project deliverables meet operational expectations for safety, operability, reliability and maintainability throughout the facility design lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist Process Engineering support covering design reviews, HAZID, SIL, HAZOP, Management of Change (MOC), risk assessments, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting.
- Support resolution of punch-list items and warranty claims while improving facility safety and reliability.
- Support development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new projects.
- Develop and implement process surveillance tools to ensure safe, reliable and optimized production.
- Troubleshoot process issues, provide engineering recommendations and escalate operational threats or deviations where required.
- Participate actively in System Completion activities, including pre-commissioning and start-up walkdowns and witnessing activities.
- Provide Process Engineering and Flow Assurance input to other engineering disciplines and project functions.
- Support and facilitate completion of project tie-ins for systems within the assigned area.
- Identify, track and resolve critical technical issues and new-technology risks that could affect reliability, availability and cyber security.
- Prepare discipline handover packages for the operating organization following start-up.
- Support high-risk and complex commissioning activities, including system surveillance, tuning, optimization and technical advisory support to Operations and Maintenance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Offshore oil & gas project experience is required.
- Strong Process Engineering experience, preferably covering EPC, commissioning, start-up and operational support.
- Experience with Process Engineering and/or Flow Assurance activities.
- Practical exposure to process safety and technical reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Risk Assessment and MOC.
- Knowledge of applicable international engineering codes, standards and specifications.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Computer literate with advanced knowledge of relevant engineering software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make sound technical decisions under high-pressure conditions.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experienced Senior Process Engineer with a strong oil & gas background and mandatory offshore project exposure, ideally involving major EPC projects and offshore facilities. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on involvement in design reviews, process/flow assurance, process safety studies, system completion, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, tie-ins and operational readiness.
