Senior Instrumentation Engineer
Role Purpose
Execute instrumentation design, cable engineering, and DCS interface activities, including site surveys and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare I/O lists, cable block diagrams, and instrument location plans.
- Perform site surveys to verify existing cable routes, JB locations, and spare availability.
- Coordinate FO cable OTDR testing and core allocation.
- Work with DCS vendor for hardware installation and loop checking.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning of DCS links.
- Ensure all consumables (cables, glands, trays) are properly procured.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's in Instrumentation Engineering.
- 10+ years experience, 5+ years in EPC brownfield.
- Hands-on with major DCS systems and Modbus communication.
- Knowledge of FO cable testing (OTDR).
- Strong site execution background.
