Lead Instrumentation Engineer
Role Purpose
Lead all instrumentation and control system engineering, focusing on DCS interface, fiber optic network integration, and OT cybersecurity compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage DCS modification scope (IES-9, IES-11, IES-18) as per scope of work.
- Interface with project teams for DCS upgrade timeline alignment.
- Ensure OT cybersecurity compliance and checklist completion.
- Oversee supply, installation, and testing of FO-TCP converters, patch cords, and CAT6 cabling.
- Coordinate with DCS OEM for gateway configuration and I/O mapping.
- Develop control narratives, graphic pages, and log reports.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and integrated SAT with DCS.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree: Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 15+ years overall, with 8+ years in brownfield EPC projects.
- Deep knowledge of DCS, Modbus TCP/IP, and fiber optic networks.
- Cybersecurity certification (IEC 62443) is a plus.
- Experience with major regional energy sector projects is mandatory.
