Lead Civil Engineer
Role Purpose
Lead civil and structural engineering efforts for substation modifications, floor cutouts, structural adequacy checks, and earthing transformer foundation design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural adequacy checks for existing substation slabs under new panel loads.
- Design floor cutouts, cable entry openings, and strengthening measures.
- Prepare demolition and modification drawings for civil works.
- Coordinate rebar scanning and core cutting with safety approvals.
- Design earthing transformer yard layouts and foundations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 15+ years overall, including 8+ years in oil and gas EPC brownfield projects.
- Skilled in conducting structural adequacy checks for existing buildings.
- Proficient with structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, or Mat 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with major energy sector projects preferred.
