Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Installation Analysis Engineer to perform advanced offshore installation analyses supporting deepwater SURF developments. The successful candidate will deliver engineering analyses for offshore installation of subsea pipelines, risers, flexible systems, umbilicals, and subsea structures.
Candidates should have strong analytical capability and hands-on experience with offshore installation simulations rather than purely FEED engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation analyses for offshore construction activities.
- Develop installation methodologies for pipelines, risers, flexibles, umbilicals, and subsea structures.
- Carry out:
- Pipelay analysis
- Dynamic installation analysis
- Lift analysis
- Vessel motion analysis
- Installation feasibility studies
- Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation.
- Support offshore operations and installation campaigns.
- Coordinate with project engineering, marine operations, and construction teams.
- Participate in technical reviews and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Extensive experience in offshore installation analysis.
- Proven experience supporting deepwater SURF developments.
- Strong analytical background in offshore installation engineering.
- Proficiency using relevant offshore installation analysis tools including OrcaFlex and OffPipe.
- Experience analysing:
- Pipelines
- Flexible pipelines
- Umbilicals
- Risers
- Subsea structures
- Experience supporting EPCIC execution projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of offshore installation methodologies.
