Senior Finance Project Manager
Working Location: Solna (Stockholm). Three days in the office and two days working from home. From the start, there may be a need for slightly more on-site presence until the person is fully up to speed.
Assignment Start: ASAP
Assignment End: 31st December 2026 (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day / 5 days a week
Role Overview
We are searching for a Senior Finance Project Manager with deep knowledge of project management as both leader and team member. The project manager plans, leads, manages and coordinates projects. The role coordinates and communicates tasks towards goals and expected benefits, according to the organization's guidelines and assignments.
The project manager should be able to create a good working climate among the participants in the project, stimulate innovation, contribute to digital development and be comfortable in change management. You will be responsible for control of schedules, deliveries, contracts and costs, with experience of agile and traditional projects and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects within Purchase-To-Pay (P2P) processes across business units and their geographies.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
- Support the Subledger Leadership Team in strategic planning, structure and follow-up.
- Lead and collaborate cross-functionally to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, using the Objective & Key Results (OKR) framework.
- Drive change management and communication activities within Finance Business Services (FBS) and to stakeholders outside FBS.
- Contribute to broader Subledger initiatives including Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Intercompany cost allocations and billing processes.
- Mentor and guide process experts, providing hands-on support in their project management and execution.
Requirements
It is important that the candidate has previous experience in the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process and has worked as a senior project manager leading development projects within this area. It is crucial that this is clearly highlighted in the candidate presentation.
Skills and Experience
- Strong leadership qualities, analytical problem-solving skills, and a structured approach, combined with solid project management capabilities.
- High level of self-motivation, strong collaboration skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within and outside of FBS.
- More than 5 years of documented experience driving and leading complex end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) projects, with deep expertise in the full P2P process, strong project management capabilities, and solid knowledge of established project steering frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change management and communication activities.
- Excellent command of English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is essential.
Education
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, with professional experience in finance processes.
