Job Description
An experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer / Supervisor is required to oversee the reassembly of a steam turbine on site in Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise steam turbine reassembly activities.
- Provide technical guidance to site mechanical teams.
- Ensure work is completed in line with OEM procedures, drawings and tolerances.
- Oversee alignment, clearances, bearings, casing and turbine internals.
- Support inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical completion.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong steam turbine overhaul/reassembly experience.
- Previous Siemens steam turbine experience preferred.
- Experience with SST-300 highly advantageous.
- Experience supervising mechanical teams on site.
- Strong knowledge of turbine alignment, clearances and mechanical inspection.
