Job Purpose
Primarily focused on S3D installation, setup, customization, management, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Install S3D application server and client.
- Create, customize, and administer S3D site, plant, and catalog.
- Configure batch server, name generator, IFC server, clash rules, and rule checker service.
- Set up and configure global works share or Citrix for S3D.
- Create multi-discipline catalog, symbol customization, and custom name rules.
- Customize S3D multi-discipline support library using Visual Studio.
- Customize deliverables including multi-discipline layout drawings, ISO and custom reports.
- Provide multi-discipline S3D user support and training.
- Support setup of SPF integrated environment based on project requirements.
- Prepare project procedures according to client and project requirements.
- Create PBS as per SPF or client requirements, defining and creating discipline-wise hierarchies to suit project needs.
- Handle all customizations and configurations required for S3D.
- Publish and retrieve data to and from S3D/SPID and SPF environments.
- Support users in publishing from and retrieving into S3D.
- Assist users with correlation issues.
- Prepare 3D model review datasets and participate in client review meetings.
- Interface with IT and software vendors for all S3D-related issues.
- Handle audits and data handover to clients.
Requirements
- Engineering degree.
- Experience in S3D administration and customization.
- Experience in customizing S3D using .NET programming (VB, C#).
- Knowledge of engineering data flow in a multi-discipline FEED/EPC project.
- 13 to 16 years of FEED/EPC work experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in pipe support customization and symbol customization using Visual Studio.
- Experience with drawing, report, and label customization.
- Experience working with SmartPlant Foundation for data retrieval, correlation, and publishing.
Nice to Have
- Management experience.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of Smart P&ID and other engineering tools.
- Familiarity with AVEVA E3D.
