Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budget forecasts, and bills of quantities (BQ).
- Manage commercial contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor appointments.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for material selection and design changes.
- Monitor project expenditures and flag potential budget overruns early.
- Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and subcontractor monthly progress claims.
- Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and final project accounts.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience as a QS and Costing Manager in construction or engineering.
- Strong expertise in measurement rules, standard contract forms, and tendering.
- Proficiency in QS software such as leading cost estimation or project management tools.
