Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise to support the site purchasing manager in preparation for a major plant overhaul scheduled for summer 2027.
- Work closely with the Shutdown Manager and dedicated team for the overhaul project.
- Define needs autonomously, manage calls for tenders, negotiate, draft and deploy service contracts, and handle purchase order deployment.
- Daily monitoring of the general progress of preparation, shutdown, and execution phases.
- Participate in meetings to review progress of scopes on site.
- Assist the Shutdown Manager and team in feasibility studies for opportunity projects.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Manager for contractual opportunities covering existing framework contracts.
- Carry out market analyses including cost analyses and benchmarking.
- Manage and qualify a panel of suppliers, including historical suppliers.
- Manage supplier disputes when necessary.
