Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
Requirements
- 15 years' experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines such as construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, or hook-up within the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 5 years of management-level experience in construction disciplines, engineering, or project management with overall responsibility for EPC execution.
- Experience with Oil and Gas organizations, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up as applicable to project scope.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as relevant to a project.
- Extensive understanding of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience in large-scale operating organizations across Operations, Projects, or Subsurface divisions.
- Proven track record in project delivery within the industry, including management of EPC contractors and sub-contractors.
- Excellent safety record in construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote incident-free operations through continuous monitoring and leadership engagement.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, lifting plans, and site procedures.
- Optimize resource allocation, productivity, and construction sequencing.
- Identify and resolve construction constraints and interface issues.
- Ensure timely completion of milestones and project deliverables.
- Review progress reports, manpower deployment, and productivity metrics. Track construction costs and progress against approved baselines.
- Participate in recovery planning and schedule optimization initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams. Participate in management meetings and provide senior-level status updates.
