System Completion Database Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Hexagon system completion databases.
- Create and manage systems, subsystems, and commissioning boundaries.
- Upload and maintain engineering documents, drawings, and equipment registers.
- Configure tags, punch lists, test packs, and completion certificates.
- Support development of check sheet and certificate templates and a tag type population matrix.
- Verify completion and upload of every applicable Inspection Test Report (ITR).
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams for system completion requirements.
- Generate completion reports, dashboards, and progress tracking reports.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access.
- Monitor project completion status and resolve data discrepancies.
- Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Perform bulk data imports and exports using Excel and other supported tools.
- Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate with software vendors when required.
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain document revisions and completion records.
- Provide user training and technical support for Hexagon application.
- Prepare and maintain standard System Completion Database Management Procedures.
- Continuously monitor and report progress.
- Receive and compile engineering tag lists and ensure correct systemization and hierarchy assignment in System Completion Database.
- Collaborate closely with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each handover area/system.
- Provide daily and weekly updates.
- Ensure compilation of punch lists by the contractor and/or client and transfer, register, number, and upload them correctly into the Master Punch List database.
- Prepare Loop Folders and Completion Dossiers to support the approval and acceptance of System or Sub-System Groups according to the Handover Philosophy.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Engineering or IT background; Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) preferred.
- Prior experience with Hexagon software is preferred.
