Senior Commercial HVAC Technician
Location: New York, NY
We are seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to service commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout New York City.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial HVAC/R equipment
- Service chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, air handlers and controls
- Read electrical schematics, equipment documentation and work plans
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control-system failures
- Complete preventive maintenance and emergency service calls
- Document repairs, equipment conditions and recommended corrective work
- Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Knowledge of NYC cooling-tower and water-treatment requirements
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Ability to work in mechanical rooms and confined spaces
- EPA certification and relevant trade licenses preferred
- Available for occasional nights, weekends and emergency calls
