Production Engineer
Location: Doha, Qatar (occasional travel to site required)Contract Type: 1-year contract, subject to extension
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare production forecasts for monthly and quarterly targets in liaison with relevant teams.
- Analyze gaps between production targets and actuals; propose and implement improvement plans, including minimization of downtime, process improvements, troubleshooting, and debottlenecking.
- Participate and contribute to meetings related to well and ESP follow-up, including daily calls, weekly well follow-up, and monthly field constrained potential meetings.
- Lead the Production Performance meeting.
- Ensure chemical products and treatment plans are effective; participate in chemical selection processes and contract renewals.
- Set daily chemical injection targets and monitor KPIs; lead monthly chemical follow-up.
- Implement, develop, and maintain field operations software for field monitoring, including real-time databases and production data management systems.
- Review daily operation reports to ensure data consistency and robustness; issue validated reports to stakeholders.
- Issue weekly and monthly production reports; analyze databases to provide production data trends and analysis for reports and presentations.
- Provide assistance and training to users of field operations software, including offshore users.
- Liaise with IT to ensure hardware and networks support optimized functioning of field operations software.
- Participate in and promote compliance with HSE policies, rules, and procedures, including participation in HSE activities and improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate compliance with business ethics and procurement integrity standards.
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas production operations.
- Experience in data management is desirable.
- Technical competencies in Data Management, Production Engineering, and Process Engineering.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Arabic is an advantage.
