Job Description
The client is looking for experienced external full stack development consultants to support the continued development of a product suite that supports offshore wind farm asset lifecycle across designing, planning, investing, constructing, operating, and valuating offshore wind farm assets. The solutions help ensure that business cases, assumptions, calculations, and data are transparent, traceable, and reliable across disciplines and asset projects.
The users include engineers, procurement specialists, business developers, finance professionals, project teams, and asset management stakeholders who depend on digital tools and high-quality data to make better investment and operational decisions.
At a high level, the product suite consists of an overall case management and orchestration tool that integrates inputs and data across the business case process, specialist systems for production forecasting and cost estimation, tools for maintaining market information and assumptions, and a data warehouse that enables reporting, analytics, and benchmarking across disciplines, projects, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and evolving scalable, secure, and maintainable products using .NET technologies, Angular, cloud platforms, and modern integration frameworks, while making sound decisions aligned with product and architecture goals.
- Taking senior-level ownership of solution quality, security, and compliance by applying best practices for data protection, authentication, authorization, secure coding, observability, and regulatory requirements.
- Owning and improving applications in production, including reliability, performance, maintainability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of operational practices.
- Driving cloud-native engineering practices, including deploying, scaling, and managing applications in AWS and designing resilient integrations using messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Guiding technical discussions, supporting code reviews, mentoring less experienced engineers, and collaborating with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Working Model
The consultant is expected to conduct work from the specified location mentioned in the requisition. They are mandated to support the client's offices for a minimum of 2 up to 3 days per week. Fully remote work is not allowed unless prior agreement with the hiring manager. These rules could be modified in the future at the client's discretion.
Requirements
To succeed in the role, you:
- Have extensive hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, and Angular, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and maintainable software architecture.
- Are highly proficient in system integration and distributed application development using REST APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging platforms such as Kafka or AMQ, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Have strong experience with cloud-native technologies on AWS, such as Kubernetes (EKS), cloud storage, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager), data pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and production-grade deployments.
- Are experienced in DevOps practices and tools for automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation, release management, and improving developer productivity.
- Are confident working with version control systems such as Git, build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrate senior-level ownership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor colleagues, influence technical direction, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and balance delivery speed with long-term quality.
