Key Responsibilities
- Leading geotechnical assessments and engineering studies
- Managing project delivery from initial investigation through to design support
- Reviewing ground investigation data and providing technical recommendations
- Supporting foundation, earthworks, retaining structure, and slope stability assessments
- Managing external ground investigation contractors and specialist consultants
- Producing and reviewing technical reports and design documentation
- Supporting project planning, commercial reporting, and client engagement
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
- Working closely with civil, structural, and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements
- Strong geotechnical engineering experience within infrastructure, highways, rail, energy, or civil engineering sectors
- Experience leading projects and managing technical delivery
- Good understanding of ground investigations, geotechnical design, and risk management
- Experience with foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, and slope engineering
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership preferred
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
