Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 hours per day, occasional short offshore trips are to be expected

Scope of Work

  • Maintain fabric maintenance related pressure containing and structural integrity by piping replacement, emergency piping repair, pressure vessels repair, structural repairs, replacement of handrail and grating, painting and insulation.
  • Organize and prepare the fabric maintenance activities in compliance with referential standards and local and international regulation.
  • Review, classify, define scope and prioritize fabric maintenance corrective work orders for cost efficient execution with specific focus on safety and integrity critical activities such as fitness for service, downgraded situations, SECE and synergi findings.
  • Follow the end-to-end process for corrective maintenance operations, including managing the FMC maintenance contractor to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Follow up on overdue and deferred corrective maintenance work.
  • Act as technical specialist and technical duet within fabric maintenance related disciplines and activities.
  • Ensure emergency and contingency stock levels are kept at the desired level to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide fabric maintenance budget input in line with maintenance strategy for the annual budget exercises, follow up on spent cost and give timely feedback on cost performance for corrective actions required.
  • Manage backlogs of fabric maintenance related items and equipment for onshore repair or refurbishment and reintegration into offshore operation.
  • Participate in, and provide input to, FMC contractor meetings related to contract performance and contract performance improvements, and participate in SQMs for other relevant contractors.
  • Organize and participate in risk assessments when required.
  • Engage with site personnel, contractors and vendors on a regular basis, including offshore visits.
  • Participate in and give input to the planning and schedule processes.
  • Provide Tier 2 assistance and expertise to IPOC.
  • Ensure fabric maintenance related documents in the CMS are up to date.
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of installations while optimizing performance and costs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance maintenance strategies.
  • Implement maintenance methods and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and apply innovative solutions to address maintenance challenges.
  • Support the transformation and optimization of maintenance processes within the company.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in maintenance methods studies.
  • Contribute to the achievement of financial targets through effective maintenance practices.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiation with various stakeholders to achieve maintenance objectives.
  • Align maintenance activities with the companys long-term strategic goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in maintenance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in maintenance operations.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance indicators to drive improvements.
  • Participate in audits and reviews to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance sustainability and environmental responsibility in maintenance activities.

Background, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent level.
  • Piping or structural engineering skills with a background in oil and gas construction.
  • Ability to understand, explain and present to both technical and non-technical audiences in a persuasive and convincing manner.
  • Language skills: English, fluent both spoken and written.
  • Technical skills: Piping and structural design and associated construction related knowledge, including material and composite material properties, material degradation and failure mechanisms, and material inspection.
  • 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally with background in construction, fabric maintenance and or inspection.
  • BOSIET H2S certification.
