Job Title: Security Revit Modeler
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Contract Duration: 12 months+ (potential for permanent conversion)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Revit Modeler to support complex projects across aviation, power, buildings, infrastructure, and advanced facilities. This is a senior-level role focused on delivering high-quality BIM models for data centre and large-scale developments, while coordinating across disciplines and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed Revit models for security systems and layouts in line with design requirements
- Ensure models comply with LOD, LOI, and BIM Execution Plan requirements
- Embed accurate parameters, system data, and schedules to support design and construction
- Take ownership of assigned model areas and resolve clashes independently where possible
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and ICT disciplines
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure compliance with BIM standards and naming conventions
- Update models based on design changes, engineering inputs, and client feedback
- Prepare drawings, outputs, and model exports for coordination and review meetings
- Support construction-stage modelling activities as required
- Provide guidance and informal checking for junior team members
- Share best practices to improve modelling consistency and efficiency
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong ability to interpret schematics and design intent for security systems
Experience & Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in security BIM modelling preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong technical understanding of security systems and layouts
Preferred Experience
- Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
- Background in commercial, mixed-use, hotel, or retail developments
- Familiarity with international codes and standards
- Experience using Common Data Environments and tools such as Navisworks
