Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Digital Solutions Specialist to support regional sales teams across Asia Pacific. This role focuses on developing innovative digital solutions within power and energy management, working closely with stakeholders to drive digital transformation across industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, and process sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development & Technical Support
- Design and develop digital solution concepts integrating automation, electrification, and third-party technologies
- Collaborate with technology and project teams to create cost-effective and competitive proposals
- Apply digital solutions across industries including oil & gas, chemicals, and process sectors
Sales & Business Engagement
- Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities and target customers
- Support development of digital roadmaps and value propositions for clients
- Engage with senior decision-makers to position digital solutions effectively
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and manage expectations across projects and engagements
Risk & Performance Monitoring
- Identify technical risks and competitive challenges
- Track key metrics such as customer engagement, pipeline growth, RFIs/RFQs, and order intake
Collaboration & Culture
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Support agile ways of working and encourage innovation within the organisation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Experience
- Experience within oil & gas, chemicals, or process industries
- Understanding of customer business drivers and APAC regulatory environments
- Exposure to SaaS solutions in industrial environments is advantageous
Technical & Professional Skills
- Knowledge of OT system architectures and OT/IT integration
- Familiarity with IIoT technologies, ERP integration, and industrial cybersecurity
- Experience in value-based selling and business development
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is beneficial
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams
