Reliability Engineer / Lead / Advisor
Working Location: SingaporeContract Duration: Approximately 6 to 7 months, aligned with project schedule
Work Mode: Combination of remote and onsite participation, subject to contractor requirements
Position Summary
The Reliability Engineer / Lead / Advisor will provide reliability engineering expertise for LNG terminal, regasification, gas processing, and hydrocarbon export/import facilities. The role will support reliability, availability, maintainability, resilience, and concept development activities throughout project studies and engineering phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies.
- Perform Single Point of Failure (SPOF) and Common Cause Failure (CCF) assessments.
- Support LNG Terminal Synergy Assessments.
- Participate in RAM, SPOF, CCF, reliability, and resilience workshops.
- Support concept selection, Pre-FEED, and FEED studies from a reliability perspective.
- Identify reliability-critical equipment, systems, and potential vulnerabilities.
- Recommend mitigation measures to improve reliability, availability, and operational resilience.
- Review reliability methodologies, assumptions, study outputs, and technical deliverables.
- Assess reliability risks and provide appropriate technical recommendations.
- Support the establishment and assessment of reliability and availability targets.
- Provide specialist technical input for LNG terminal expansion and brownfield modification studies.
- Participate in technical reviews and management workshops.
- Interface with multidisciplinary engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams.
- Ensure reliability requirements and considerations are incorporated into project design and concept development.
- Provide technical guidance and specialist advice on reliability and operational resilience matters.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Extensive relevant engineering experience within LNG, FSRU, LNG storage, regasification, gas processing, or hydrocarbon export/import facilities.
- Strong experience in RAM, SPOF, CCF, reliability, and resilience assessments.
- Proven experience performing, reviewing, and/or leading reliability studies.
- Experience on multiple similar LNG or hydrocarbon facility projects.
- Experience reviewing reliability methodologies, assumptions, modelling approaches, study outputs, and technical deliverables.
- Experience supporting concept selection, Pre-FEED, and/or FEED studies.
- Experience in LNG terminal expansion and brownfield modification projects is preferred.
- Experience supporting LNG or gas facilities with significant send-out capacity, ideally 3.5 MTPA or greater, is preferred.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination and technical communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical recommendations on reliability risks, availability, and operational resilience.
