JOB PURPOSE (Why the position exists)
The post holder is responsible for leading project delivery and execution to ensure completion safely within allocated time and cost.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review the scope of work from the contracts and develop relevant deliverables, such as the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
2. Supervise overall project team performance to ensure works are in compliance with the contracts.
3. Comply with and promote applicable HSSE and quality control instructions and procedures in all project activities.
4. Ensure project delivery is in compliance with company project management tools and escalate issues to management where necessary.
5. Develop and monitor submission of project deliverables as per the approved Master Document Register (MDR).
6. Lead interface management between internal and external stakeholders, including support functions, client, vendors, authorities and regulatory bodies.
7. Ensure timely preparation of progress reporting for stakeholder reference.
8. Keep management informed on project cost and schedule with appropriate forecast at completion (FAC).
9. Anticipate project activities and ensure all stakeholders start necessary preparation for upcoming activities in due time.
10. Monitor procurement and subcontract activities to ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources for the project.
11. Oversee project close-out dossier compilation and submission.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE (Engineer level)
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience as an Engineer, preferably in the oil and gas fabrication industry.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical) from a recognized higher learning institution.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers in the relevant country (or equivalent).

REQUIRED SKILLS (Engineer level)
- Leadership skills.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ASTM, AWS, BS, AISC and client specifications.
- Familiar with 3D modelling software.
- Able to conduct engineering analysis and read engineering drawings.
- Engineering design (Level 3).

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE (Senior / Project Engineer level)
- Minimum of ten (10) years working experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the installation and commissioning industry.

REQUIRED SKILLS (Senior / Project Engineer level)
- Development, review, analysis and forecasting of schedule and resources at bid stage and during project execution.
- Progress reporting.

- Understanding of project contract requirements.
