JOB DIMENSIONS
The Offshore Pipeline Welding Inspector will oversee the reporting staff assigned to and onboard the vessel and report directly to the Offshore Pipeline QC Lead. During the installation phase, the Offshore Pipeline Welding Inspector will assist the Quality Control Lead with technical appraisal and supervision of the pipelay campaign operations. The scope of work will particularly focus on the installation of the 22 pipe and welding activities and inspection.

ACTIVITIES
- Perform and execute all QC / Welding inspection activities during installation of offshore referring to ITP
- Review final release inspection pipeline and Test Packages, mechanical completion (ITR)
- Witness hydro test or pneumatic test
- Review report and final dossier documentation prior submission
- Raise, monitor, support Quality Lead to close NCRs ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions
- Support on punch list identification
- Contribute to lesson learned and close-out report

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
- Large-scale LNG facility site that includes private airstrip, marine facilities, and multiple subsea wells over a multi-year construction period, utilizing a staff of 1500+ employees and contractors based across several international locations
- Subsea to shore dry gas field development located in the northern part of Mozambique with a long-term production period
- The subsea field will be developed via multiple subsea wells, production manifolds, trunk lines, MEG lines, in-field flowlines, associated tie-ins and terminations for all pipelines, control modules, onshore umbilicals, main tie-back umbilicals, in-field umbilicals, UTA assemblies, electrohydraulic flying leads, flexible jumpers, rigid jumpers and spools

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Good quality execution of the installation campaigns during the execution of AUT activity before pipe deployment
- Ensuring the execution of the job on time and quality, respecting the safety requirements
- Ensure that contractor activities are following project standards and specifications

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Certified CSWIP minimum 3.1 (TWI) and minimum 2 Level NDTs SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712 is a plus with a minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas industry with related offshore technical, quality and HSE oversight experience and at least 10 years of offshore pipelay installation
- Ability to work well in high-stress, fast paced environment with others in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of small and flexible team and manage interfaces between multiple contractors
- Onboard vessel experience in inspecting offshore installation contractors
- Fluency in the English language
- Current BOSIET and OGUK Medical certification prior to mobilizing offshore
