Role: EHS Manager
Start Date: 20th July 2026 (Desired)
Contract Duration: 12 months, Annually Renewable
Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Type of Contract: Residential Contract Role
Shift Pattern: 9 hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). No Hybrid or work from
home as this is a fully site-based role.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
 Manage EHS activities across a full-cycle industrial construction project within the Oil
& Gas / Petrochemical sector.
 Support and promote the project's BSP (Basic Safety Process) culture and
deliverables.
 Carry out safety audits, toolbox talks, field engagement and daily supervisor reporting
where required.
 Ensure compliance with client EHS standards, site procedures and project safety
expectations.
 Manage and coordinate staff, subcontractors and site teams from an EHS
perspective.
 Support brownfield construction and modular work activities, ensuring safe execution
on site.
 Work closely with logistics and transportation teams to support safe delivery and
movement of materials and equipment.
 Collaborate with the project quality department to ensure understanding and
implementation of relevant discipline quality requirements and Inspection and Test
Plans (ITPs).
 Monitor contractor quality performance and ensure compliance with ITP
requirements.
 Issue daily discipline reports covering safety, quality, contractor resources,
equipment, contractor performance, and any impact to schedule or cost.
 Complete and maintain required Client Learnex training throughout the duration of
the assignment.
 Attend onboarding and training at the relevant client head office, including a minimum
mandatory onboarding period of one week.
 Travel occasionally within the Netherlands for business meetings, including possible
visits to the head office in The Hague.
 Remain flexible to work additional hours or Saturdays during busy periods, where
required and approved by the client.
Candidate Requirements
 Previous experience as an EHS Manager or similar role on industrial construction
projects.
 Strong experience across full-cycle construction projects within the Oil & Gas,
Petrochemical or similar heavy industrial sectors.
 Brownfield construction experience is required.
 Experience with modular construction work is required.
 Good understanding of logistics and transportation, particularly relating to site
deliveries.

 Proven experience managing staff and subcontractors.
 Previous experience on construction projects in Rotterdam is highly preferred.
 Local candidate preferred.
 Proficiency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken, is required.
 Must be available to work full-time on site, Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day.
 Must be flexible to work additional hours and Saturdays during busy project periods,
where required.
 Must be willing to travel occasionally within the Netherlands for project meetings.
 Must comply with client training, onboarding and reporting requirements.
 Must provide two suitable references before offer confirmation.
 Must sign off the agreed job description prior to commencing the assignment.
 Four-week notice period applies.
