Project Engineering Lead (Warranty)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering

Knowledge and Experience
- Eight (8) years' experience in multiple project functions and assignments such as project management, engineering, construction, procurement, etc. in the Oil and Gas industry
- At least one (1) year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor, subcontractor, service, or vendor personnel
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in Project Execution, with a strong background in commissioning and startup
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in warranty coordination
- Proven experience with warranty claims and resolution
- Experience with major and first tier EPC contractors, subcontractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
- Experience with regular LNG operations, cause and effect, and debottlenecking of operational unplanned downtime caused by defects
- Local experience is preferred

Job Purpose
Lead the warranty process during project handover, ensuring closeout of identified defects through collaboration with the execution party (contractor) and the affected party (operating company or end user). The objective is to ensure operational continuity and financial stability.

The role focuses on warranty coordination and management between all parties, overseeing various warranty elements such as:
- Warranty claim forms
- Defect identification
- Review and assignment
- Resolution
- Commercial settlement

The position reports to the Project Manager and coordinates the detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities of an assigned area to ensure the work is executed in compliance with the contract, project design basis, specifications, codes, standards and regulations.

This is a highly technical role in a challenging project environment. The candidate is expected to demonstrate:

- Causal learning and investigative skills

You will address technical issues identified during construction, commissioning, and startup of LNG trains, ensuring defects are resolved effectively and long-term operability is protected.
