MEIP Technical Integration Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development, consolidation, and review of technical RFQ documentation for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Piping (MEIP) procurement packages.
  • Establish and maintain specification development plans and monitor progress against project procurement milestones.
  • Track document maturity, review status, approvals, and outstanding actions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Coordinate technical inputs from project managers, technical specialists, engineering partners, OEM suppliers, construction teams, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of technical specifications, registers, and package documentation.
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, and interface issues across procurement packages.
  • Coordinate interface definition and alignment between OEM suppliers, engineering teams, the Main Construction Contractor, MEIP installation contractors, existing facilities, and operational stakeholders, where applicable.
  • Maintain interface registers and help ensure that agreed interface requirements are reflected in procurement documentation.
  • Organize and facilitate RFQ readiness reviews before tender release.
  • Ensure procurement packages contain the required scope, technical requirements, installation requirements, quality requirements, testing and mechanical completion requirements, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate technical clarification requests during tendering and support the maintenance and closure of clarification logs.
  • Coordinate technical evaluation inputs from project management, engineering, construction, quality, health and safety, environmental, and other relevant representatives.
  • Support the preparation of consolidated technical evaluation reports and recommendation documentation.
  • Maintain visibility of package readiness, documentation status, and key technical risks through regular reporting and tracking.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical activities and manage interfaces across multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of technical specifications, scope management, and procurement package development.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple parallel activities in a complex project environment.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and integration risks within technical documentation.
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on quality and delivery against schedule.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and proactive follow-up skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in industrial projects, engineering, procurement, construction, or technical coordination roles.
  • Experience in mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation installation contractor procurement, tender preparation, contractor selection, or project delivery activities.
  • Experience in large industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, energy, or construction projects.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation, scope-of-work definitions, interface management, and contractor coordination.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, or piping systems and installation activities.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams involving engineering contractors, suppliers, and construction organizations.
  • Experience with different project delivery models is considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, review processes, and document control.
  • Fluent in English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
