Head Construction (Offshore)
Location: QatarContract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise EPIC projects with a focus on offshore construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion of Topsides, Jackets, Pipelines, Umbilicals, and Brownfield Modifications.
- Review and approve contractor deliverables for FEED and EPIC projects.
- Act as an interface between the Project Manager, Asset Holder, Contractor, and Construction Team.
- Provide guidance to construction supervisors and contractors to ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved method statements, project schedules, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Interpret and review drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, and construction schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience supervising EPIC projects, with significant offshore experience.
- Robust experience in FEED and EPIC projects, with strong capability to review and approve contractor deliverables.
- Relevant technical expertise and multi-discipline engineering exposure, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental awareness.
- Excellent ability to interpret and review technical documentation and schedules.
- B.Sc. in Engineering from a recognized university, plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control, and Construction.
