If you have led maintenance on ageing assets and enjoy solving real operational challenges, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one. Supporting a well-established operator, you will take ownership of mechanical reliability, maintenance strategy, and asset performance across multiple onshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and reliability function across multiple sites
- Drive maintenance strategy, planning, and execution for mechanical assets
- Manage multidisciplinary teams with a strong focus on mechanical and rotating equipment
- Support operations with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical input
- Own maintenance budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) and manage contractor performance
- Drive reliability improvements and enhance asset availability
- Oversee preventive maintenance and long-term planning
- Lead upgrade and modification projects on existing assets
- Ensure integrity and performance of critical rotating equipment
- Track performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop team capability and strengthen technical standards
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector
- Strong background in rotating equipment and mechanical asset reliability
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in live operations
- Knowledge of maintenance systems such as SAP or CMMS
- Experience managing budgets and service contracts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Fluent French required
