Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in engineering discipline, with at least 6 years of demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects in the oil and gas sector.
- Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- 2 years experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor, sub-contractors, service, or vendor personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering, design, quality assurance, leadership, and expertise in accordance with project deliverables and approved execution schedule.
- Direct the preparation and stewardship of engineering scope of work for engineering studies required for execution. Advise and recommend design procedures and deliverables as required to optimize the project schedule to match restoration project timelines as much as possible.
- Maintain close liaison with members of Project Management Team (PMT) Engineering teams and alignment with the Engineering Division Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with relevant LNG operations, policies, standards of business conduct, and project management systems as applicable.
- Provide support to PMT in areas related to technical bid evaluations, qualifications, and experience of engineering companies.
- Ensure usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software; adherence with all project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans, and design verification processes.
- Assess and validate engineering contractor and third-party consultants (as applicable) capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement and reporting, and recommend additional technical support to address gaps.
- Facilitate engineering schedule and related milestones. Provide data (study reports, narrative, charts, graphs, change management recommendations, and recovery plans to address any schedule delays) for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.

- Ensure knowledge sharing from previous lessons learned, capturing and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
