Full-Stack Agile Software Engineer

Location: Solna, Stockholm, Sweden
Start Date: 5th October 2026
End Date: 31st March 2027
Work Style: Hybrid - Minimum 2 Office Days Weekly - 40 Hours Weekly

Role Objective

Develop and maintain innovative, accessible, and secure web applications that provide effective end-to-end business solutions. Contribute as part of a collaborative Agile DevSecOps team focused on learning, openness, and continuous improvement. Deliver maintainable, well-tested software that meets user needs and applicable IT and information-security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web-based applications with a focus on end-to-end solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with UX and UI designers to create user-friendly and accessible digital experiences.
  • Work iteratively using Agile methods, test-driven development, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Contribute practical problem-solving, technical ideas, and continuous improvements.
  • Represent and support the web-development perspective within wider business projects.
  • Document technical solutions, decisions, and delivery processes.
  • Apply secure software-development practices in accordance with legal, IT-security, and information-security frameworks.

Tasks

  • Develop frontend functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Angular 18 or later.
  • Develop backend services and application components using C# and .NET.
  • Design and consume REST-based integrations using JSON and XML.
  • Build and release software using Azure DevOps and cloud-based services.
  • Create responsive interfaces using CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
  • Develop and maintain content-management solutions, preferably using EpiServer or Optimizely.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation using OAuth and OpenID technologies.
  • Use development and API-testing tools including Visual Studio and Postman.
  • Create unit tests and automated tests to maintain software quality and delivery confidence.
  • Collaborate with team members from different technical and professional backgrounds.

Deliverables

  • Production-ready frontend and backend application features.
  • Accessible, secure, and user-focused web solutions.
  • Reliable REST integrations and cloud-based application components.
  • Automated unit and functional tests supporting consistent code quality.
  • Clear technical documentation and effective knowledge sharing.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

  • Own assigned application features from clarification and development through testing and release.
  • Recommend suitable implementation approaches within the agreed architecture, security controls, and team standards.
  • Identify and escalate material security, quality, accessibility, or delivery risks.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and continuous improvement across the Agile DevSecOps team.

Requirements

  • Four to five years of professional web-development experience.
  • Strong experience with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience using Angular 18 or later.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
  • CMS experience, preferably with EpiServer or Optimizely.
  • Experience implementing OAuth and OpenID authentication.
  • Experience using Visual Studio and Postman.
  • Practical experience with test-driven development and automated testing.
  • Docker, SQL, databases, Redis, or other caching solutions are advantageous.
  • Experience with web-analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Piwik PRO is advantageous.
  • Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in software development, computer science, IT, or a comparable discipline.
