Join the Digital Workplace function as an Endpoint Consultant, where you will work towards securing a stable and functional endpoint operation. The Endpoint Team is part of the Digital Workplace department, which supports workplace, communications, and collaboration technologies including PC and operating systems, virtual desktop infrastructure, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain overview and full accountability for the operations queue and act as the technical contact for endpoint applications, focusing on virtual desktop technologies (Level 3 support).
- Resolve tickets in close collaboration with the OT support team.
- Establish a close working relationship with the Level 2 Support teams in different regions.
- Perform third-level support for endpoint applications, including virtual apps and desktops, profile management, and application delivery controllers.
- Execute detailed testing based on operational scenarios and recommend appropriate changes.
Please note that this position requires a rotating shift schedule to facilitate support hours.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with virtual apps and desktops solutions.
- Solid understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure architecture and enterprise virtual desktop environments.
- Working experience with technologies such as application stores, delivery controllers, workspace environment management tools, Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and DNS/DHCP.
- Familiarity with profile management solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and systematic approach to work tasks while demonstrating good communication and teamwork.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate technical issues in understandable terms for operational users.
Relevant Microsoft-related certifications will be an added advantage.
