Project Scope of Work
Located approximately 20 km east of the Gulf line and 12 km southwest of the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1 facility, the objective is to provide water supply from three sources: the existing Safaniyah GOSP-1, the new Zuluf AH Central Processing Facility (CPF), and Jaladi aquifer water for treatment and injection purposes. The facility will process 1,400MBCD of water for injection to cover the production forecast up to 2035, maintaining the existing Safaniyah Field's Maximum Sustainable Capability (MSC). Additionally, the scope includes expanding water facilities in Safaniyah GOSP-1 to accommodate surplus produced water that exceeds the existing formation water system capacity up to 2035.
Job Purpose
The Document Controller performs document control, organizes, administrates, and plans duties for the project, serving as the first line of contact for document enquiries, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Control, file, log, and maintain up-to-date status records of all project communications and technical documentation via an electronic/web-based document management system for remote access.
- Adhere to project document control procedures and comply with confidentiality and audit protocols.
- Receive, check, classify, categorize, register, and store all documents.
- Conduct quality checks on all documents in accordance with project/client requirements.
- Develop and create various document folders, organizing them into easily searchable and accessible libraries.
- Issue internal distribution checks within review cycle times and return comments to the originator.
- Develop and issue overdue document reports.
- Implement and maintain established documentation procedures.
- Use version control to ensure transparency of document history and revision.
- Provide safe storage and retrieval of project documentation in both hardcopy and electronic formats.
Requirements
Educational & Technical Requirements:- BSc in Engineering or Business discipline.
- 5 years of experience.
- Familiar with development and administration of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts in the petroleum or related industry.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Saudi Aramco Projects.
- Familiarity with auditing, accounting, and contracting techniques and procedures is desirable.
- A high level of fluency in oral and written English is essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of the document management system used by the host company.
- Knowledge of SAP desirable.
- Good knowledge of SharePoint (project-dependent).
