JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently supporting our client in their search for a Country Finance Manager to be based in Croatia.
This role will take ownership of the country-level finance function, overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead and manage the full finance function at country level
-Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
-Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and IFRS standards
-Provide financial insight and strategic support to senior stakeholders and business leaders
-Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and overall financial performance
-Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions
-Drive process improvements and financial controls across the organisation
-Support business growth initiatives, investments, and commercial decision-making
-Lead, mentor, and develop the local finance team
What You Bring to the Role
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
-Significant experience in a senior finance role (Country/Finance Manager level)
-Strong knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS) and local statutory requirements
-Experience within energy, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC environments preferred
-Proven leadership and team management experience
-Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
-High level of proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office tools
-Fluent English (additional local language skills advantageous)
