Commissioning Lead (Onshore Telecom)
Location: Qatar Onshore - DohaContract Type: 36 months
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas industry
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel
- Strong knowledge and understanding of completion certificate types
- Strong decision-making and prioritization skills under pressure, with technical, analytical, and interface skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization
- Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) databases such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar
- Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces
- Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices
Technical and Business Skills
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures of offshore site environment
- Effective coordination with all parties involved and strong reporting skills
- Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Excellent communication skills to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs; computer literacy required
- Good communication and influencing skills
