Business Development Manager - Permanent Position

Location: Qatar

Job Objective

- Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy aimed at scalable and profitable growth, enhancing shareholder value and customer perception.

- Expand the customer base, drive sales growth, and increase market share.

- Foster positive, professional relationships with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.

- Apply data and analytical approaches to identify areas for sales improvement and cost reduction.

- Formulate both short-term and long-term development plans, incorporating these into annual budgets and growth projections.

- Lead market research initiatives, stay updated on emerging opportunities, and identify potential bids through various channels including networking and meetings.

- Monitor sales progress to ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

- Develop and implement strategies for scalable service offerings, delivering projects within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities; build and sustain relationships with partners, clients, and customers.

- Participate in business meetings to update stakeholders on progress and strategy.

- Work to increase organizational capabilities and broader market reach.

- Review contracts to ensure legal and corporate compliance.

- Evaluate bid documents and coordinate work assignments among bid, sales, finance, technical, legal, and commercial teams.

- Respond to client inquiries regarding services.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure understanding of bid and RFP requirements, and facilitate timely communications.

- Maintain effective communication with external and internal stakeholders to support winning bid strategies and ensure compliance.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

- Bachelor's or master's degree in software/IT; additional qualifications in sales or business development preferred.

- Experience in researching and analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitors.

- Strong research and strategic analytical skills.

- Ability to assess the company's competitive advantage within its sector.

- Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

- Strong communicator with the ability to review bid documents, provide actionable input, and collaborate with stakeholders.

- Proficient IT skills.

- Initiative and confident decision-making.

- Project management skills and experience.

- Strong organizational and collaborative abilities.

- Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking.

- Ability to write and update business reports.
