Senior Structural Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to support a major offshore oil and gas development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality structural design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore facilities.
- Prepare detailed structural layouts, fabrication drawings, and construction deliverables.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other disciplines to ensure design integration.
- Review and update design documentation in accordance with project requirements.
- Support model reviews, clash resolution activities, and design optimisation.
- Ensure all design activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings as required.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers when necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Design, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in structural design within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong offshore platform design experience preferred.
- Proficiency with industry-standard 3D design software such as Smart 3D, PDMS, E3D, Tekla, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
