Senior Project Manager - Commercial HVAC
Location: New York, NY
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC installation projects throughout New York City.
Responsibilities
- Manage plan-and-spec and design-build HVAC projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own project budgets, schedules, procurement, forecasting and change orders
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, submittals and equipment selections
- Coordinate project managers, superintendents, engineers, vendors and subcontractors
- Lead value engineering, constructability reviews and client meetings
- Monitor installation, commissioning, safety and contract compliance
- Manage RFIs, scope changes, billing and project closeout
Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical construction experience
- Proven ownership of large or complex NYC HVAC projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, piping, ductwork and controls
- Experience with design-build, procurement, cost control and change management
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with construction-management software
- Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
