SCOPE OF WORK
- Use process calculation skills, tools and experience to contribute to the research of technical solutions (upsets, shortfalls, instability, bottlenecks, etc.).
- Provide Tier 2 support, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Review and validate Junior Process Engineer work when required.
- Provide training, coaching and support to Process Engineers.
- Independently lead initiatives and projects related to process engineering tasks.
- Contribute to the operating philosophy as well as to the operating limits (including updates).
- Contribute on request to technical and integrity assessments.
- Contribute on request to various studies related to safe operations, integrity and new developments (e.g. Hazid / Hazop, RCA, pre-project).
- Develop and update as required PFDs, P&IDs, Process Datasheets and Specifications, and Cause and Effect Diagrams.
- Document relevant management plans, derogations and related technical records.
- Contribute to site surveys as required.
BACKGROUND / QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
- BSc in a science discipline, preferably Petroleum Engineering.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the process industry, depending on seniority.
- Proficiency with process simulation tools (e.g. Pro II, Hysys, Olga, Flare Sim).
- Demonstrated ability to work transversally across teams and disciplines.
- Strong focus on HSE.
- Fluency in English.
