Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ICSS Engineer to support the detailed engineering phase of a major offshore oil and gas development. You will be responsible for Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) engineering activities, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and industry standards, and providing expert support across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ICSS engineering activities during detailed engineering execution.
- Develop and review control system architecture, philosophies, and specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables including cause and effect charts, control narratives, logic diagrams, and system specifications.
- Interface with vendors to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.
- Review vendor documentation and participate in FAT, SAT, and system integration activities.
- Coordinate with process, instrumentation, electrical, telecom, and operations teams.
- Support cybersecurity and functional safety requirements where applicable.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and technical reviews.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
- Extensive experience in ICSS engineering within offshore oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with major control system vendors.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA, and functional safety standards.
- Experience supporting detailed engineering and EPC execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
