Key Responsibilities
- Producing civil engineering design deliverables across clean water and wastewater projects
- Developing practical and efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits
- Preparing calculations, reports, specifications, and design risk assessments
- Supporting drainage, pipelines, pumping stations, roads, and associated infrastructure design
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors
- Supporting design reviews, constructability input, and project delivery activities
- Managing design changes and ensuring technical compliance
- Supporting programme planning and estimating activities
Requirements
- 5+ years' civil design experience within the UK regulated water industry
- Experience supporting infrastructure, clean water, or wastewater projects
- Experience producing hydraulic calculations and hydraulic profiles
- Strong understanding of civil engineering standards and design deliverables
- Degree, HND, or equivalent engineering background
- Chartered or working toward chartership
- Strong communication and technical reporting capability
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
