Position Overview
An experienced Project Manager is required to oversee the construction and execution of utility-scale solar projects within a growing renewable energy portfolio. The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for assigned projects from pre-construction through commercial operation, managing project schedule, budget, safety, quality, engineering, procurement, contractors, and key project deliverables. This position serves as a primary point of coordination between internal teams, EPC contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage utility-scale solar projects from pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
- Own and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and overall project execution.
- Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party consultants throughout construction.
- Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, construction plans, and contractor deliverables.
- Manage project procurement requirements and coordinate delivery of major equipment and materials.
- Conduct regular project and construction meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress against schedule and proactively address delays, risks, and cost impacts.
- Manage RFIs, change orders, contractor invoices, project documentation, and contractual deliverables.
- Partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with safety requirements and OSHA standards.
