Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Process Safety Engineering Manager to lead a growing team supporting major onshore and offshore energy projects. This position offers the chance to provide technical leadership, develop client relationships, mentor engineering professionals, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex process safety studies across a diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of Process Safety Engineers.
- Act as a technical authority for process safety matters across multiple projects.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Support clients by providing expert advice and practical process safety solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and new opportunities.
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, engineering best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor engineers at all levels and promote a collaborative team culture.
- Prepare technical proposals, project scopes, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Support multidisciplinary engineering projects, working closely with process, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to consequence assessments, risk studies, emergency shutdown evaluations, and other safety-related analyses.
- Identify opportunities to expand engineering services across projects and clients.
- Collaborate with regional and international teams to support project delivery and resource planning.
- Participate in business development activities, client presentations, and industry events.
- Support recruitment and team growth initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- Significant experience leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Extensive experience delivering process safety engineering services within the energy sector.
- Strong background in both onshore and offshore projects.
- Experience supporting brownfield and greenfield developments.
- Good understanding of engineering design, construction, and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Experience with consequence modelling, risk assessment, and advanced safety analysis techniques.
- Experience contributing to design basis development and multidisciplinary engineering studies.
- Proficiency with standard engineering and office software applications.
- Strong understanding of risk identification, risk assessment, and risk management methodologies.
