Role Purpose
The Loadout Coordinator - Pipeline will support the safe, controlled, and efficient delivery of complex energy engineering and construction activities from a Kuala Lumpur base, working across multidisciplinary office, fabrication, marine, and field interfaces as required. The role is accountable for reliable execution within its discipline, timely coordination with stakeholders, and maintenance of clear, auditable records.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate loadout, transport preparation, quayside, and marine logistics activities for project equipment and structures.
- Verify readiness of cargo, lifting arrangements, seafastening, transport documentation, and interfaces with marine assets.
- Coordinate yard, engineering, lifting, HSE, quality, and logistics teams to execute loadout sequences safely.
- Maintain loadout status, movement records, and action registers through completion.
- Coordinate loadout and transfer of linepipe, reels, stalks, spools, and related pipeline materials/equipment.
- Verify handling, preservation, identification, and sequence requirements align with offshore installation needs.
- Participate in planning, coordination, and progress meetings and provide concise status, risk, and action updates.
- Apply document control, change management, and approval requirements and maintain records suitable for audit and handover.
- Work in accordance with applicable HSE, quality, ethics, and compliance requirements, escalating concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering, logistics, or marine qualification with experience in heavy transport, loadout, lifting, or marine logistics.
- Typically 3-7 years of relevant experience, adjusted for the complexity and seniority of the assignment.
- Experience in offshore energy, EPC/EPCIC, transportation and installation, fabrication, or marine construction environments is strongly preferred where relevant to the role.
- Strong written and spoken English; ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.

Additional Requirements
- Based in Kuala Lumpur with flexibility to travel to yards, ports, vessels, offshore locations, or supplier premises when the assignment requires.
- Able to work to project deadlines and, where operationally necessary, support extended hours, mobilisation windows, or offshore rotations.
- Any offshore medical, safety training, professional certification, or competency requirement will depend on the final work scope and mobilisation location.
