Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop knowledge in the technologies of various business sectors. Be proactive in design reviews, attend works as required, and build strong working relationships.
- Deliver mechanical engineering work packages to contracted specifications, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Suggest, justify, and implement improvements and creative solutions for complex problems.
- Consult with other engineers and experts concerning unusual or challenging problems.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage other mechanical engineers and designers, and coordinate with piping, structural, and civil engineering specialists to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Engineering degree required.
- Working towards or already hold Chartered Membership of a recognised institution.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for understanding new processes and technologies, and applying engineering knowledge effectively.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience within Oil & Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, or Biotechnology sectors.
- Proven background in leading teams of engineers and designers.
- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in IT.
