Key Responsibilities
- Support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department to ensure operational readiness and successful well delivery within budget and schedule.
- Work closely with the Lead Drilling Engineer during well preparation and execution stages.
- Act as Drilling & Completion Superintendent with accountability for major technological risks, particularly blowout prevention.
- Lead communication with offshore operational teams, logistics, and contractor representatives.
- Provide operational support for drilling and completion activities.
- Review Drilling & Wells Programs, ensure operations are performed in line with program, and manage changes as required.
- Review and distribute daily operational reports.
- Maintain ongoing communication with offshore teams and lead daily calls.
- Liaise with logistics and service companies to ensure equipment and personnel readiness.
- Participate in lessons learned and performance optimization processes.
- Manage, motivate, evaluate, and develop offshore personnel.
- Coordinate personnel planning and review personnel needs.
- Promote and ensure compliance with HSE objectives, statutory and company QHSE standards, and bridging documents.
- Prepare rig-related derogations and bridging documents as needed.
- Follow up on rig action lists to ensure timely closure of identified anomalies.
- Participate in emergency response as part of IMT Operations Section.
Requirements
- Technician or Engineering profile (Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent).
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of offshore and deepwater drilling environments.
- Familiarity with industry referential, processes, and methods.
