Role Purpose
The Crewing Coordinator will support the safe, controlled and efficient delivery of complex energy engineering and construction activities from a Kuala Lumpur base, working across multidisciplinary office, fabrication, marine and field interfaces as required. The role is accountable for reliable execution within its discipline, timely coordination with stakeholders, and maintenance of clear, auditable records.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate personnel mobilisation and demobilisation for offshore and marine operations.
- Maintain crew rotations, certification, medical, training, travel and mobilisation records.
- Liaise with vessel teams, operations, travel providers and manpower stakeholders to resolve crewing constraints.
- Ensure personnel documentation is complete and current before deployment.
- Coordinate crew plans, rotations, travel, mobilisation documents and offshore readiness for assigned marine assets or campaigns.
- Track certificates and training validity and resolve personnel gaps with relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in planning, coordination and progress meetings and provide concise status, risk and action updates.
- Apply document control, change management and approval requirements and maintain records suitable for audit and handover.
- Work in accordance with applicable HSE, quality, ethics and compliance requirements, escalating concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in business, maritime, HR or a related discipline, with crewing or marine mobilisation experience.
- Typically 3-7 years of relevant experience, adjusted for the complexity and seniority of the assignment.
- Experience in offshore energy, EPC/EPCIC, transportation and installation, fabrication or marine construction environments is strongly preferred where relevant to the role.
- Strong written and spoken English; ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.

Additional Requirements
- Based in Kuala Lumpur with flexibility to travel to yards, ports, vessels, offshore locations or supplier premises when the assignment requires.
- Able to work to project deadlines and, where operationally necessary, support extended hours, mobilisation windows or offshore rotations.
- Any offshore medical, safety training, professional certification or competency requirement will depend on the final work scope and mobilisation location.
