System Integration Engineer

About the Opportunity
An international energy operator is seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer to support the delivery of major offshore and onshore oil and gas developments. This role will focus on engineering coordination, contractor management and technical integration activities across complex project execution phases.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors and project stakeholders to support engineering integration, fabrication activities and offshore execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support system integration and project engineering activities across offshore and onshore developments
- Coordinate engineering deliverables and interface management between project disciplines and contractors
- Support FEED and detailed engineering review activities
- Monitor contractor engineering performance, technical compliance and project execution progress
- Coordinate with fabrication yards, offshore vessels and engineering offices during project execution
- Support engineering planning, reporting and technical documentation activities
- Assist with technical issue resolution and interface coordination across project packages
- Participate in project meetings, engineering reviews and contractor coordination sessions
- Support project execution during engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning phases
- Ensure engineering deliverables and project documentation remain accurate and up to date
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the oil and gas industry across offshore and onshore projects
- Previous experience in project engineering within a major oil and gas operator or contractor environment
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with contractors and supervising contractor activities
- PMP certification is required
- Strong experience with FEED and detailed engineering processes
- Experience working in fabrication yards, offshore vessels and engineering offices
- Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international project teams
