Senior SAP Datasphere Specialist

Role Objective
Support the delivery of a new finance data foundation and reporting platform by designing and developing SAP Datasphere solutions. Deliver SAP Datasphere data models, semantic models, integrations, and data flows across SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP HFM sources. Strengthen specialist capacity and enable the delivery of high-priority initiatives through effective collaboration, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP Datasphere solutions for finance data and reporting requirements.
- Develop data models, semantic models, data flows, and integrations within SAP Datasphere.
- Integrate data from SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP HFM.
- Support existing SAP BW solutions and associated data processes.
- Support SAP Analytics Cloud reporting and planning solutions in collaboration with specialist colleagues.
- Work closely with internal teams and implementation partners across an international delivery environment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and impediments affecting solution delivery.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and the development of internal technical capability.
Tasks
- Translate finance data and reporting needs into appropriate SAP Datasphere solution designs.
- Build and maintain SAP Datasphere data models, semantic models, and data flows.
- Develop and maintain integrations with SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and SAP HFM data sources.
- Collaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud specialists to support reporting and planning solutions.
- Provide technical support for existing SAP BW solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across data models, integrations, and data flows, escalating impediments where required.
- Share specialist knowledge with internal teams and support capability building across the international team.
Decision Authority / Responsibility
- Responsible for the technical delivery and quality of assigned SAP Datasphere solutions, data models, data flows, and integrations.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues within the role's scope and escalating impediments that require wider programme input.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere or its predecessor, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.
- Strong practical expertise in SAP Datasphere data modelling, data integration, semantic modelling, and solution design.
- Experience supporting SAP Analytics Cloud reporting or planning solutions.
- Experience integrating SAP data sources; SAP ECC and SAP BW experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting existing SAP BW solutions.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional and international teams, including collaboration with implementation partners.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, supported by a structured approach to technical delivery.
- Able to work from the Warsaw office at least two days per week and attend additionally where reasonably required for project delivery, collaboration, workshops, or stakeholder engagement.
- Remote work must be performed from Poland unless an alternative arrangement is expressly agreed and approved in advance.
- Successful completion of the required background verification before onboarding.
