Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives and manage high-value sourcing operations. This role will oversee supplier relationships, drive cost-efficiency, enhance operational excellence, and support the organization's long-term procurement strategy. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, commercial insight, and strong analytical capabilities to optimize the end-to-end procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contract development, and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Identify and leverage economies of scale to maximize value across procurement activities
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders at executive and managerial levels
  • Lead cost-saving programs and enhance cash flow across categories and business units
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to manage risks and uncover opportunities
  • Champion continuous improvement and work simplification to increase efficiency
  • Optimize supplier performance metrics, procurement tools, and processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to remove organizational barriers and enhance service delivery
  • Mentor and guide procurement staff, cultivating a high-performance team culture

     

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • 2 years of experience in the GCC region is a plus
  • Proven track record of managing complex procurement projects and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Deep knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), supplier risk management, and purchasing benchmarking
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market conditions and drive data-based decisions
